Why My Blogger Blog Is Not Indexed on Google

Let me be honest.. I started this blog with zero experience in SEO. No background in digital marketing, no prior knowledge.. just curiosity and the decision to finally stop watching tutorials and actually try.
But within the first few days, I hit a real problem.
My blog was not getting indexed on Google.
That’s when I realized something important — learning SEO in theory is easy, but doing it in real life is completely different.
This blog is my attempt to figure that out — publicly.
The Real Problem I Faced
After publishing my first post, I expected it to appear on Google quickly.
But nothing happened.
- No impressions
- No clicks
- Not even showing in search
That’s when I understood:
Just creating a blog is not enough — Google needs a reason to index it.
What I Learned Early (Beginner Mistake)
I spent hours watching SEO tutorials before starting.
But when it came to actually doing it, I got stuck.
Because:
- Tutorials show “perfect examples”
- Real blogs start from zero
The only way to learn SEO is to do it yourself
So instead of waiting to “learn more,” I decided to learn by doing — and document everything
What This Blog Is About
This is not a typical SEO blog.
I’m not an expert.
I’m a beginner testing things in real time.
Here’s what you’ll see on this blog:
- Real keyword research (using free tools)
- Actual blog posts I create
- Mistakes I make (and how I fix them)
- Google Search Console data (impressions, clicks)
- Honest results — no fake success
Everything is real, even if it fails
My First SEO Decisions (Important for Beginners)
Before writing anything, I had to make two important decisions:
1. Which platform to use?
I chose Blogger
Why?
- It’s owned by Google
- Faster indexing potential for beginners
- Completely free
- No technical setup
For someone starting from zero, this made sense
Naming my blog (harder than expected)
I tried multiple names before choosing:
“Ranking From Scratch: My Real SEO Learning Diary”
Why this works:
- Clear purpose
- Honest tone
- Shows it’s a journey
My 4-Week SEO Plan
Instead of randomly posting, I created a simple plan:
Week 1 — Keyword Research
- Find a low-competition keyword
- Use free tools
- Validate real search demand
Week 2 — First SEO Article
- Write a structured blog post
- Optimize title, headings, and content
Week 3 — Indexing & Tracking
- Submit to Google
- Track impressions and clicks
Week 4 — Improve & Expand
- Update first post
- Publish second post
- Start internal linking
What Makes This Blog Different
Most blogs teach SEO.
This blog shows:
What actually happens when a beginner tries it
- No assumptions
- No shortcuts
- No fake results
Just real learning.
If You're a Beginner Like Me
If your blog is not indexing…
If you feel stuck…
If you don’t know where to start…
You’re exactly who this blog is for
Because I was in that same position just a few days ago.
What’s Next
In the next post, I’ll show:
- How I tried to fix my indexing issue
- What worked (and what didn’t)
- Real screenshots and results
Final Thought
I don’t have all the answers yet.
But I’m going to find them — step by step.
And I’m documenting everything here.
So if you’re starting from zero like me…
Let’s figure this out together.
